London, 28 September 2026. homvo, a video-first property app for buyers and sellers, is live on the App Store and Google Play. The first estate agents’ pages are public, starting in South London, and further pages are being built for agents across the UK.
Where a portal is a list of homes, homvo is built around the agent. Every member, an independent agency or an agent working under their own name, has a page of their own on homvo. On it, the listing sits on each video, filmed by the agent, with the price and the address in view, and the agent’s own valuation sits on the video as it plays. Anyone can open the app, with nothing to sign up for, watch the homes one after another, tap one for the full listing, and send an enquiry to the agent whose page they are on. That enquiry goes to that one agent and nobody else. homvo never sells or shares it.
On every member’s videos sits just value, a valuation that asks for a postcode and nothing else. The person watching picks their address and sees an automated estimate as a range. No name, no email address and no phone number are asked for, and nobody follows up. It becomes an enquiry only if they choose to press “Sell my home” or “Let my property”, and then it goes to the agent whose page they were on.
Eddie Chang, who started homvo, said:
“I am not an estate agent. I have moved house a few times, and each time I wanted to know what mine was worth long before I wanted to talk to anyone about it, so I never filled in the form. What I did do, most evenings, was watch homes on my phone. homvo is built for that evening. The homes are on video, the number comes with no name attached, and when the thought turns into an enquiry it goes to the one agent whose page it was.”
homvo runs on the videos agents already make. Every home on homvo is filmed by the agent listing it; homvo does not film or edit them. The videos sit on a page the agent owns, beside their listings and their valuation, at an address a buyer or seller in that town can come back to.
homvo sits alongside the portals rather than in place of them. Rightmove and the other portals hold the listings, and agents keep listing where they list. homvo is where the looking starts: the agent’s own page, and the person on the sofa watching it.
Membership is paid monthly, and there is nothing to pay until the first enquiry lands. The fee card is published at homvo.co.uk/patch.
homvo is a video property app for buyers and sellers, built in London by XLanding Limited. Every home on homvo is filmed by the agent listing it; the listing sits on the video, the agent’s valuation sits on it, and every enquiry goes to one agent alone. just value, the valuation on every member page, asks for a postcode and nothing else. The app is on the App Store and Google Play. Why it was built is told in a short book, Just Look: the birth of homvo, at homvo.co.uk/story.
